I just found out that an old friend committed suicide. I wasn't really that close to him but I knew him. We used to drink together n party back in the day. I did seem him for a while this last winter. He was a really great lookin guy with a heart of gold. He had a drug habit and that ultimately was his undoing. He had kids and I feel for them.
I hope you find peace Ronnie...you were a cool guy.

Megalodon The new evidence
There is a new special for shark week on bringing attention to the supposed evidence of giant prehistoric sharks called Megalodon. Of course it is complete BS and they "clips" they have are obviously computer generated.
To me this kind of mach journalism and science is a mockery of the real profession. If you recall they did the same thing with Mermaids-Body found.
It is completely fake and scripted, all actors and the the videos of these creatures are so obviously fake, it makes me laugh hysterically to think people would actually believe this crap!
It is for entertainment and bad entertainment at that.
I am not opposed to these theories...the Earth is 71% water and so much more to explore. This is NOT the way to do it. Ridiculous.

My mother is still in the hospital but she is doing much better. I am very relived for sure.

PGI
Sunday I got the chance to see the PGI show, Pyrotechnic Guild International which is being held here all week. It was pretty awesome, apparently we are the only place that will allow this convention to go on in the USA. Here a couple of short vids from the show....it was awesome!
Update
It has been a hell of a week to say the least. My mother went into the hospital on Friday and had an operation on Saturday. We just found out she will have to be in another 4 weeks. I am so glad I am here!
We have had an out pouring of love and support which I am truly greatful for. She is going to fine, they need to monitor her as she heals because of her diabetes.
Pretty much everything in my life will be on hold until this passes, it is fine, that is what a son does :) I hope you all in the Blog land are doing well!
