These last few days here in Seattle have really been trying!
First off whenever this city gets snow and ice the city shuts down. Not because we are "snow wimps" hell, I grew up in Iowa! The problem is Seattle has many hills which is nearly impossible to drive let alone walk on when covered in snow and ice.
This is enough to shut the city down.
The snow kept coming down yesterday, first it was freezing rain then it turned to snow and finally quit around 8pm.
The good news is that we will be warming up and all of it will melt.
I am thankful I live so close to my job....a 1/2 block!
I hope everyone survived the freak snow storm out there!
