Consumer beware

I recently bought a garlic press at a local Safeway, the maker is a company called Good cook.
As you can see from the picture, the red paint started to crack off and I actually caught myself one day picking paint chips out of my food....really?!
It could have happened before without me even realising it.
I sent a letter to the company stating that this should not be on the market, health concern...etc.

So, I received a package today. This is the contents of the package....

There is no letter apologising or stating if they will take this press off the market. Apparently this is their solution to the problem...

I personally feel this is unacceptable...do you want your consumers eating paint chips?
