Update

It has been a hell of a week to say the least. My mother went into the hospital on Friday and had an operation on Saturday. We just found out she will have to be in another 4 weeks. I am so glad I am here!
We have had an out pouring of love and support which I am truly greatful for. She is going to fine, they need to monitor her as she heals because of her diabetes.

Pretty much everything in my life will be on hold until this passes, it is fine, that is what a son does :) I hope you all in the Blog land are doing well!

Runaway

I haven't wrote or posted in a while, I apoligise. It's not like I have alot of people checking this blog out anyway. I just have been kinda down lately and have not felt inspired.
It seems I am in a funk these days.
I feel like running away on a search for something to hold on to.
This romantic doldrum I am in really sucks.
There are 2 guys after me right now but true to form I feel no attraction to them, I will give them this, they are tancious.
Story of my life, the ones who want me, I don't want them.
Being home has been good but I am feeling the itch to get out again.
I had thought of going to Florida to help put a friend with a project however he seems to be too busy to even give me a 5 minuter phone call to talk about it. I have been waiting to make a choice based on it but now it seems like he doesn't want me out there.
I guess it's back to the drawing board.
I have no idea where I am going in this life and it feels like I am no good at making it work. Doing it alone with no partner in life makes it even worse and that gets me down the most.

Oh well I will stop being a negative nancy.

Turn it up, as I post some new music i am into at the moment.

Update

I haven't been blogging lately, just not a lot to write about. My life has been fairly uneventful lately, the usual bs mostly.
I went out last week, had a lot of fun and saw a very hot guy, wow. I am sure he wasn't interested in me but god damn....woof!
I am making the most out of being home and it has been cool but I am ready for a new adventure for sure. I am not sure where or when, but it is coming.

Update

I havent been blogging lately, guess I have had nothing really to talk about.
I have been very busy with work. The restaurant is always full of some kind of drama.

I was seeing this guy for a while then he decided he was in love with someone else. I had to force that out of him too. I told him to be real and honest with me. Are we still in high school? Whatever...I am not suprised, as most of you know I have a shitty track record with men. I really liked this one and for a moment I was having day dreams of us actually having a life together....wow I am delusional.

Enough about that. It is finally getting nice here in Seattle, finally. Winter here has been very cold and wet. Hell, one day it decided to rain, then snow, then get sunny, then rain, then snow....in that order. So odd!!!

A co-worker and I have decided to have a dry month. It is a detox for the whole month of April. I am on my 8th day of no drinking. I have to say it was pretty hard the first few days. It is easy to fall into a routine and that routine involves drinking.
I feel good about it, I fell better and it definitely was time to do this.

I am still planning a trip back home this summer, if I can ever get time off and have enough money saved up to do it. It's just hard living by yourself and trying to save money.

Update

I haven't posted in a while.
Work has been crazy...launched a new menu which can be a lot of work, etc.

Life has been alright lately.
I finally ended my dry spell and got some. It was random but I played it safe. I think I am not cut out to have a relationship that means anything so I will just have fun.

I bought myself a new 50'' inch plasma tv for my bday present to myself. It is enormous and I love it!
I actually got a great deal on it so I was pretty happy about that.

I finally got my Madonna ticket in the mail. I am pretty excited about the show, this will be the 2nd time I will have seen the queen!

It is kinda odd that there is no name for the tour...it is just simply Madonna....she has never done that before.

I am babysitting my neighbors cat for a few days. She is very cute, old and odd. She stays in one place and doesnt move. Here is a pic...

I am missing my peeps back home. Hopefully I will be coming home in May. It is LONG overdue I l know.

Mark's update

I am doing laundry today, cleaning my place from top to bottom.

I'm pretty stoked that I actually have today and tomorrow off which never happens in my business.

It's been hot lately in the NW, we had a shitty ass summer so I think the weather is going to carry over into the fall which is cool. We get spoiled by the mild temps here and when it gets above 80 we think were dying...jeez.

I am supposed to meet up with a guy tonight but not sure if I'm in the mood.

Hopefully this week or next I am going on a road trip with a good friend, I really can't wait, I've been urban locked for a long time and its definitely getting to me. I need some nature, DAMN!
